How is my Rating Calculated?

Your rating is calculated from the average of your last 30 performance scores.

I Won but my rating didn't go up.

This happens when the last preformance score we use to calculate your rating is the same as your new performace score from your last game.

You Win and the system produces the new preformance score to be 6.

Your Previous Rating = Avg of  6, 3, 4, ... 5, 3, 8 
6 being the oldest and 8 being your newest

Your New Rating = Avg of 3, 4, ... 5, 3, 8, 6
3 now being the oldest and 6 being your newest

With having your new performance score of 6 the same as the one that comes off your rating calculation (6), you would end up with the same rating.

I Lost but my rating went up.

This happens when the last preformance score we use to calculate your rating is less then your new performace score from your last game.

You lose but still win 3 frames and the system produces the new preformance score to be 4.

Your Previous Rating = Avg of 2, 6, 4, ... 9, 5, 6 
2 being the oldest and 6 being your newest

Your New Rating = Avg of 6, 4, ... 9, 5, 6, 4
6 now being the oldest and 4 being your newest

With having your new performance score of 4 being greater then the once that comes off your rating calculation (2), your rating would increase.

HOWEVER

you cannot lose a match and go up a skill level, should that happen please contact the league.
